This Monkey's Gone to Heaven

For the past year, I've been waiting for this summer more than I've ever anticipated a summer before. I spent ridiculous amounts of hours thinking about how I'm gonna spend hours reading and cooking and taking photographs and talking to strangers and drinking and laughing.  I made reading lists, to do lists, to buy lists. Now summer's here and it's all a bit... meh. I've wasted days queuing up for 6 hours outside the Roundhouse to see The xx, only to be told by the cunts at iTunes that no one is going to be allowed in. As you can imagine, Chalk Farm was overrun with angry hipsters that evening.

However, I did spend a sunny day eating tapas and frozen yoghurt in Covent Garden, then making my way to have a life changing experience. Visiting the Abercrombie and Fitch store. WOW. What the actual fuck? Spanish tourists, Italian tourists, French Tourist, Jewish Princesses, and other types of irritating teenagers everywhere. The place is dark, noisy, and is wearing far too much aftershave. Every member of staff is white, except the one "token black guy" who is... a DANCER. That's right, they have fucking dancers. Not strippers or anything normal, but like an awkward guy and girl who have to dance together. Losing your dignity much? Needless to say,  two of my best friends and I walked out in epic proportions of laughter, with everyone looking at us thinking "wtf" as we joined in with the dancer and literally skipped around the shop.
